2nd DAME Workshop

The Data Analysis Methods Workshop took place on March 14-15, 2019 in Hamburg, Germany. Our HAF partner DESY (http://www.desy.de/) hosted the event in the Flash Room on campus. 25 participants enjoyed a set of six presentations, each with a roughly one hour long hands-on sessions.
This year, the topics dealt with approaches and tools around the actual analysis of data, i.e. data repositories (access, interaction, sharing and management), data provenance (introduction, format and tools) as well as maintainable software development (documentation, testing and source code repositories). The lectures were held by experts in their field from the Forschungszentrum Jülich and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
During the breaks, there was ample time for participants to discuss their data analytics challenges, their project progress and to get in touch with the experts for advice and general contacts.
